Scrum MasterThe Scrum Master should be well versed in Agile and Scrum methodologies and demonstrate the ability to coach teams on how to apply the principles of Agile. The Scrum Master should demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to help support cooperation and collaboration both within the agile team and with other teams. In addition, the Scrum Master should be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated to work with the team to keep rally up to date, remove blockers, and get things done.Responsibilities :- Act as Scrum Master for two scrum teams, coaching the teams to achieve higher levels of agile maturity at a sustainable pace.- Participate in Scrum of Scrums and facilitate Program Increment (PI) execution- Guide teams to be self-organized and motivate teams to focus on team goals/objectives- Remove impediments and act as a change agent to implement Agile principles and best practices across the team and the organization- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospective, daily stand-up, and sprint review/demo- Facilitate getting the work done effectively and consensus-based methods in a matrixed environment. Ability to influence without direct authority.- Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution- Foster internal team communication by building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged and with an emphasis on problem-solving.- Assist with communication with the broader IT teams and business stakeholders to improve transparency and visibility into the team's progress and impediments.- Assist with documenting and tracking dependencies on other teams and with following up on the status of open items regularly.- Scheduling meetings and coordinating agendas in advance of the meetings- Support and educate the product owners in their role of creating, grooming, and maintaining the backlog and supporting the scrum team.- Support and ensure that the Agile principles are followed. Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing (e.g. burndown charts, defect trends, user story/feature completion rates, capacity, velocity, etc.)Qualification :- Scrum master Certification- SAFe Certification (good to have)- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master for a software development team that was applying Scrum / SAFe principles, practices, and theories- 3-5+ Years recent experience with reputed IT companies- Excellent communication skills- Working experience of Agile techniques: user stories, TDD, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, agile games- P&C Insurance (Property & Casualty) domain experience and/or technical skills are strongly preferred- Excellent coaching skills (ref:hirist.tech)
