The 3 S's of Verona - Standards, Security, and ScienceRole Brief :We are seeking an experienced and innovative Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will leverage your strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning to drive our data initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in building models from sparse data sets, utilizing advanced statistical techniques and concepts.Key responsibilities include developing custom neural networks, visualizing complex data, and making strategic, data-driven decisions to support our business goals. If you have a passion for data and innovation, this is the perfect role for you!Key Skills :AI and Machine Learning Expertise :- Building AI models from sparse data sets.- Proficiency in parameter tuning and dimensionality reduction.- Custom neural network development.Technical Skills :- Knowledge of TensorFlow, Torch, and Python.- Advanced statistical analysis and mathematical modeling.- Data visualization tools for strategic decision-making.Problem-Solving Skills :- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Innovative solutions for complex data challenges.Communication and Collaboration :- Strong communication skills for presenting data insights.- Collaborative team player.Roles and Responsibilities :Algorithm Development and Refinement :- Collaborate with the product management team to define requirements and objectives for matchmaking algorithms.- Develop, implement, and refine machine learning models to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of match recommendations.- Continuously improve algorithms based on user feedback, engagement metrics, and product requirements.Machine Learning and AI Integration :- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models that leverage user data to improve matchmaking accuracy over time.- Conduct experiments and A/B tests to evaluate the performance of different models and algorithms.- Integrate AI-driven models into the product infrastructure to deliver real-time match recommendations.Data Science and Predictive Modeling :- Utilize advanced data science techniques to develop predictive models that forecast user behavior and match compatibility.- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform algorithm development.- Ensure models are scalable and can handle increasing volumes of data as the platform grows.Product Collaboration :- Work closely with product managers to align data science initiatives with product goals and user needs.- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform product development and feature enhancements.- Support the development of personalized user experiences based on model predictions and data insights.Research and Innovation :- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and data science to continuously improve Verona's matchmaking algorithms.- Explore and experiment with new methodologies and technologies to enhance the platform's predictive capabilities.- Publish findings and share knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Education and Experience :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, preferably from top-tier colleges.- Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on AI and machine learning- 1- 3 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field.- Experience in high growth consumer tech product will be preferred (ref:hirist.tech)
