The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with the Product/Platform Manager as well as business unit stakeholders and customers to understand ways in which we can use data to solve business problems, make better decisions, and fulfill the product roadmap. Primary responsibilities :1. Reporting and Visualization : Develop, enhance, and maintain reporting capabilities using primarily Sisense tools (this could expand to consider additional tools). Create user-friendly reporting and visualizations to facilitate data-driven decision-making.2. Analytics Strategy : Implement reporting and analytics strategies aligned with business objectives, leveraging data insights to drive meaningful outcomes.3. Collaborative Teamwork : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and design teams, to support dashboarding and reporting initiatives for Abound.4. Business Acumen : Gain a deep understanding of the organization's software application portfolio, growth priorities, and key success metrics. Utilize this knowledge to design data-driven solutions.5. Ownership and Leadership : Take ownership of reporting projects and lead all aspects of their implementation, including defining technical requirements and understanding business needs.6. Customer-Centric Solutions : Deliver reporting solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring technical feasibility and scalability of new reporting and dashboarding initiatives.7. Product Alignment : Partner with Product Managers to align reporting and dashboarding solutions with the shared product vision, as well as short-term and long-term product roadmaps. 8. Dashboarding and Reporting Roadmap : Work closely with Product Team to collaborate and contribute to the dashboarding and reporting roadmap, defining the strategic direction and prioritizing initiatives to align with organizational goals.9. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with Product/Platform Product Managers, Value Stream Product Managers, Designers, and Solutions Architects to ensure reporting solutions meet evolving business needs.Required experience :1. Data Analysis and Interpretation :- Strong data analysis skills to understand the data and extract meaningful insights.- Ability to interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.2. BI and Reporting Tools Proficiency :- Expertise in working with Sisense (preferred) or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools such as PowerBI (ideal) or Tableau.- Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Sisense or similar BI Reporting tools.3. SQL and Database Skills :- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and querying.- Knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.4. Data Visualization Skills :- Ability to design effective and visually appealing dashboards that communicate insights clearly.- Knowledge of best practices in data visualization, including the effective use of charts, graphs, and other visual elements.5. Business Acumen :- Understanding of the organization's business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable dashboard designs.6. Data Cleaning and Transformation :- Skills in data cleaning and transformation to ensure data accuracy and reliability in dashboards.7. Communication and Collaboration :- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.- Ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.8. Project Management :- Experience in project management, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.- Ownership of the dashboard design process from concept to deployment.9. Continuous Learning : - A commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and visualization.10. Portfolio and Experience : - A portfolio showcasing previous dashboard design projects and their impact on decision-making. - 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on dashboard design.11. Problem-Solving : - Strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex data-related challenges.12. Attention to Detail : A meticulous approach to data accuracy and the design of dashboards.13. User Experience (UX) Design : Familiarity with UX design principles to create user-friendly dashboards.Preferred Experience :1. Programming and Scripting (preferred) :- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.- Experience in scripting to automate data-related tasks.- Experience with Javascript, CSS, HTML for formatting and customization of dashboards.2. Experience with Data Security : - Understanding of data security best practices to ensure data privacy and compliance.Education & Certification :- Bachelor's degree from a world-class school in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. - Sufficient previous experience as a Data Analyst with a degree in an unrelated will be considered in lieu of a degree in a related field. - Agile Product Owner and/or Scrum Master certified.- Master's degree in applicable discipline highly desired.
