Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our growing development team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining custom applications and functionalities within our SAP landscape. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of ABAP programming language, SAP tools, and best practices to create efficient and user-friendly solutions that optimize our business processes.Responsibilities:- Analyze and understand business requirements to translate them into technical specifications for ABAP development.- Design, develop, and test custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and workflows to automate business processes and improve user experience.- Utilize ABAP object-oriented programming (ABAP OO) concepts and functionalities to create reusable and maintainable code.- Perform data mapping and conversion for seamless data exchange between SAP and external systems.- Configure and maintain user interfaces for custom functionalities using SAP GUI scripting languages (e.g., Screen Painter).- Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of developed ABAP objects.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP code and SAP functionalities.- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote collaboration and best practices within the development team.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SAP ABAP technology and SAP S/4HANA.- Document technical specifications, code functionalities, and configuration settings for ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.Qualifications:- 4-7 years of experience as an ABAP Developer or a similar role with a focus on SAP development.- Strong understanding of ABAP programming language (syntax, data types, control structures, modules, function modules).- Experience with SAP data structures (tables, internal tables) and data manipulation techniques.- Experience with ABAP debugging tools and troubleshooting ABAP-related issues.- Familiarity with SAP ABAP object-oriented programming concepts (classes, objects, inheritance).- Experience with SAP GUI scripting languages (Screen Painter) for user interface development.- Experience with SAP enhancement framework tools (SE80, SE8 transaction).- Experience with SAP interfaces and data exchange mechanisms (e.g., ALE, IDoc).- Working knowledge of SAP business processes and functionalities relevant to your industry.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
