About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled AR developer to lead and guide our team in developing innovative augmented reality (AR) experiences for the ThingWorx/PTC platform. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AR offerings and driving their adoption within the industrial IoT space.Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of AR developers in designing, developing, and deploying compelling AR experiences for the ThingWorx/PTC platform.- Define the technical vision and roadmap for AR development within the company.- Develop and implement high-quality, performant, and user-friendly AR applications using ThingWorx Studio and other relevant development tools.- Integrate AR experiences with existing industrial IoT infrastructure and data sources.- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure AR experiences align with user needs and business objectives.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AR technology and the ThingWorx/PTC platform.- Identify and evaluate new AR tools and technologies for potential integration.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal AR development tools and frameworks.- Provide technical leadership and guidance on AR best practices to the team.Qualifications:- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 5+ years of experience in augmented reality development, preferably with a focus on industrial applications.- In-depth knowledge of AR development tools and frameworks (e.g., Unity, ARKit, ARCore).- Strong understanding of the ThingWorx/PTC platform and its capabilities for AR development.- Experience with 3D graphics programming and computer vision concepts.- Experience with integrating AR experiences with backend systems and data sources.- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of AR technology.
