About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer with a strong understanding of Shopify and its theme development tools. You will work closely with designers and project managers to translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing Shopify storefronts.Responsibilities :- Implement and customize pre-built Shopify themes according to client specifications and design mockups.- Develop custom Shopify themes from scratch using Liquid templates and Shopify's development tools.- Integrate third-party apps and functionalities to extend the functionality of Shopify stores.- Develop custom functionalities and features using Shopify APIs and web development best practices.- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across different devices.- Conduct thorough testing to ensure theme functionality and identify potential bugs.- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Shopify development and best practices.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 5+ years of experience developing and customizing Shopify themes.- Strong understanding of Shopify Liquid templating language and its functionalities.- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including frameworks like jQuery).- Experience with Shopify APIs and development tools (Online Store 2.0 experience a plus).- Experience with e-commerce best practices and user experience (UX) design principles is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality code.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively (ref:hirist.tech)
