Job Description :- The Lead Test Engineer is a developer in test responsible for managing overall testing for the project including design, development and maintenance of automated test, and various software test engineering activities.- Experienced in Agile onsite/offshore work model and coordination.- Ability to handle testing activities for multiple projects and to meet project deadlines.- Proficient in testing concepts, Java and/or Selenium he/she should be able to write test scenarios, test cases and automated test that validates the application functionality.- Should possess excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, able to interact with application development teams, business analysts/SME, business users and project managers to understand requirements and communicate status.Must Have :- Minimum 5+ Years of experience.Responsibilities :- Manage and lead overall testing activities for the project, track process, and report status and issues.- Develop test approach and automation strategy for functional and regression testing.- Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, maintaining traceability to test cases.- Debug/troubleshoot issues and propose workaround solution.- Assist other team members.- Assist in review of test cases and test automation scripts.- Works closely with application development teams to understand how changes in the software product affect maintenance of test scripts.- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately Leadership Competencies :- Accountability: Demonstrates reliability by taking necessary actions to continuously meet required deadlines and goals.- Global Collaboration: Applies global perspective when working within a team by being aware of own style and ensuring all relevant parties are involved in key team tasks and decisions.- Communication: Articulates information clearly and presents information effectively and confidently when working with others.- Influencing: Convinces others by making a strong case, bringing others along to their viewpoint; maintains strong, trusting relationships while at the same time is comfortable challenging ideas.- Innovation and Creativity: Thinks boldly and out of the box, generates new ideas and processes, and confidently pursues challenges as new avenues of opportunity.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience Skills :- 5-8 years of software testing experience - 5 years of core java or Selenium Test NG automation experience - API automation using Rest Assured - Proficient in writing SQL queries - Agile experience - Understanding of CI/CD - Understanding of test management process and SDLC/STLC (ref:hirist.tech)
