Position Summary Language and Learning Foundation (LLF) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Communication to join our team. The Senior Manager of Communication will be responsible for leading LLF's communication strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This role will play a pivotal role in enhancing LLF's visibility, brand reputation, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities: Develop and implement LLF's communication strategy in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Lead the creation and execution of integrated communication plans across various channels, including digital, social media, traditional media, and internal communication platforms. Oversee the production of high-quality content, including articles, press releases, newsletters, blogs, and other marketing collateral. Manage LLF's digital presence, including website content, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns. Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and other key stakeholders to enhance LLF's visibility and brand reputation. Monitor and analyse communication metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of communication initiatives and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with internal teams, including programmatic and fundraising teams, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding. Provide guidance and support to LLF staff on communication best practices, including media relations, crisis communication, and branding. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in communication and marketing. Manage the communication budget and ensure effective resource allocation to maximize impact and ROI. Qualifications: Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10-17 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing roles, preferably in the non-profit sector. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies and campaigns. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and channels. Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and website content management systems. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions. Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to LLF's mission and values.
