About Aura :Aura is building a web3-based NFT infrastructure focused on the customization of NFT and social commerce to match the best-in-class web2 experience to the likes of Amazon, eBay, and Etsy. Aura will further provide seamless payment integration and developer support to build NFT applications in a multitude of verticals like gaming, sports, arts, and music among others with ease. Aura is building a customized experience where one can experience NFT projects with more context and participate in conversations to build the community.Aura is actively investing in NFT games that have PTE as an active component, or the game makers will release the PTE model in the future. We are enabling more players to play NFT games that cannot afford the floor prices by activating the lending protocol on these games. We will provide the infrastructure to enable interoperability amongst blockchains that will allow the trading of NFTs across different projects/communities in a more seamless manner.Job Description :Function : Technical Management - Engineering ManagementThis Technical Lead role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership, particularly in the blockchain domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities :- Build and lead a high-performance software engineering team, including front-end, back-end, and testing teams.- Mentor and enhance the technical skill set of engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices.- Lead the hiring and growth of the engineering team, actively participating in interviews and hiring decisions, and developing technical onboarding plans for new hires.- Lead the development of blockchain applications, developer tools, system processes, and technical standards at scale.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate technical considerations, assess risks, and allocate resources, translating our vision into a tangible roadmap each quarter.- Provide technical support and guidance for external partners and protocols.Requirements :- Minimum 6 years of software development experience, with at least 4 years in an engineering leadership position.- Proficiency in modern blockchain development processes and tools, such as Solidity, Truffle, Remix, and React.- Ability to deliver scalable and high-quality products within a fast-paced environment.- Experience with Agile practices.- Proven track record of scaling an engineering team and infrastructure in a rapidly growing organization.- Hands-on experience with both SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.- Previous experience working in a startup environment.- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Business Development, Marketing, partners, and executive teams.- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and incentivize team members in their careers, even in remote settings.- Strong commitment to follow through on commitments both internally and externally.- Proficient in Data Structures and Algorithms.
