Candidates should have hands on exp on snowflake features and all.- SQL (PL&SQL Strong-ask them to write down procedure for SCD-2 and other procedures whatever you can) DWH, ETL (Mattilion if applicable) Role Overview :- We are looking for an enterprising person who can understand and define (as required):- Technical requirements of the analytic solutions- Data requirements of the analytic solution processes- Analytic strategies to meet the demands of business requirements- Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new solutions- A typical workday will involve working with stakeholders in individual contributor.- Develop and deploy various ETL jobs- Design and Implement Snow pipe, Stage and file upload to Snowflake databases- A suitable candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in a similar role and should possess a go -getter attitude. He/ She should be able to deal with ambiguity. Key Responsibilities & Skillsets :Common Skillsets :- 5+ years of experience in analytics, Oracle, SQL, ETL, Snowflake and associated data engineering jobs.- Experience with migration projects to Snowflake (Data source mappings, Data Loading, Data Validations etc)- Experience with AWS services like - Glue, Lambda, EMR, Redshift, RDS (Preferred)- Excellent communication & presentation skills- Experience in managing codes and collaborating with customer on model evolution- Good knowledge of data base management and SQL, Good to have- Hadoop/Spark, HIVE- Superior analytical and problem solving skills - Should be able to work on a problem independently and prepare client ready deliverable with minimal or no supervision- Good communication skill for client interactionData Management Skillsets :- Ability to understand data models and identify ETL optimization opportunities. Exposure to ETL development and deployment- Should have strong grasp of advanced SQL functionalities (joins, nested query, and procedures). - Strong ability to translate functional specifications / requirements to technical requirementsCandidate Profile :- Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply- Strong and in-depth understanding of DE Fundamentals- Data analysis experience- Superior analytical and problem solving skills- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills- Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges (ref:hirist.tech)
