Job Title : Project Manager - Software DevelopmentLocation : HyderabadJob Type : Full-TimeExperience Level : Mid to SeniorJob Description :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the software development lifecycle of our web application, iOS, and Android apps, along with an integrated messaging platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of software development processes and project management methodologies.Responsibilities :Project Planning and Management :- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, milestones, resources, and budget requirements.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and business analysts, to ensure project objectives are met.Software Development Lifecycle Management :- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success.Team Leadership and Coordination :- Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring optimal resource utilization and productivity.- Facilitate regular project meetings, stand-ups, and reviews to track progress and address any obstacles.Communication and Stakeholder Management :- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and key milestones.- Communicate project expectations and deliverables clearly to team members and stakeholders.- Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or feedback promptly.Quality Assurance and Compliance :- Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and adhere to relevant regulations and best practices.- Implement and maintain robust testing and quality assurance processes throughout the development cycle.Requirements :Education and Experience :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the software development industry.- Proven experience managing web applications, iOS, and Android app development projects.Skills and Competencies :- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Technical Proficiency :- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), mobile app development frameworks, and messaging platforms.- Understanding of software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.Preferred Qualifications :Certifications :- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.- Advanced degree in a related field.What We Offer :- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Opportunities for professional growth and development.- Collaborative and inclusive work environment.- Work on cutting-edge projects with a talented and passionate team (ref:hirist.tech)
