Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)Location: BangaloreJob Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our applications. This role requires a strong background in software development, as well as expertise in quality assurance methodologies and tools.Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop high-quality test automation solutions using Java, Appium, Selenium, and Rest Assured.- Create and maintain automated test scripts for mobile and web applications.- Develop and execute comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases.- Continuously improve automated testing strategies and frameworks.- Collaborate with the development team to understand features and technical implementation.- Identify, record, document, and track bugs to resolution.- Analyze test results, ensure the functionality of APIs, and report on test coverage.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.Mandatory Skills:- Proficient in Java programming language.- Extensive experience with mobile testing frameworks such as Appium.- In-depth knowledge of web testing tools like Selenium.- Strong understanding of API testing and tools like Rest Assured.- Experience in testing RESTful APIs and web services.- Familiarity with continuous integration and build tools such as Jenkins or Maven.Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- A minimum of [4-6] experience as an SDET or in a similar role.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.What We Offer:- A collaborative work environment with a supportive team.- Opportunities for professional growth and development.- Competitive salary and benefits package.
