Embedded Test Engineer - C/C++/Python (6-10 yrs) Pune (Quality Assurance)

Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for embedded hardware systems.- Develop automated test scripts and frameworks for hardware testing.- Perform hands-on testing, including functional, performance, regression, and stress testing.- Collaborate with hardware and software development teams to identify and resolve issues.- Document test procedures, results, and defects.- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and recommendations.- Maintain and update testing environments and equipment.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.- Participate in design and code reviews to provide testability feedback.- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in embedded systems testing or related field.- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar.- Experience with embedded system development tools and environments.- Strong understanding of hardware design and embedded systems architecture.- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools.- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).- Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.- Knowledge of safety-critical systems and standards (e.g., ISO 26262, DO-178C).- Experience with RF testing and wireless communication technologies.- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration (CI) tools.
