Description:
Overview :We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 5-14 years of experience, preferably with a background in the retail sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and be proficient in taxation, E-way bill handling, and bank integrations. This role requires cross-module expertise, excellent documentation, and testing skills, and the ability to provide solutions aligned with standard SAP best practices.Key Responsibilities :Taxation and Asset Accounting :- Manage direct and indirect taxation processes, including GST and Asset Accounting.- Ensure compliance with all taxation regulations and standards.E-way Bill Management :- Handle E-way bill processes efficiently and ensure regulatory compliance.- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.Bank Integration :- Integrate SAP FI with banking systems to facilitate seamless financial transactions.- Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between SAP and bank systems.Cross-Module Integration :- Demonstrate expertise in integrating SAP FI with other modules, particularly SAP MM (Materials Management).- Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between SAP FI and other modules.Solution Design and Implementation :- Provide optimal solutions to business needs, aligned with standard SAP best practices.- Design, configure, and implement SAP FI modules to meet business requirements.- Conduct system integration testing and user acceptance testing to ensure successful deployment.Documentation and Testing :- Create comprehensive documentation for solutions provided, configurations, and customizations.- Develop detailed test plans and conduct rigorous testing to validate solutions.POS Integration :- Integrate SAP FI with Point of Sale (POS) systems.- Ensure seamless data exchange and synchronization between SAP and POS systems.Support and Maintenance :- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP FI solutions.- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents promptly.Required Skills and Experience :- 5-14 years of experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI), preferably with a retail background.- Strong experience in direct and indirect taxation, including GST and Asset Accounting.- Proven experience in handling E-way bill processes.- Experience in integrating SAP FI with banking systems.- Cross-module expertise in SAP FI and MM.- Proven ability to provide solutions aligned with standard SAP best practices.- Strong documentation and testing skills.- Experience with POS system integration.- Knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO) is not required.Desired Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.- SAP certification in FI or related modules is preferred.- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in financial accounting and retail operations.
