Key Responsibilities :SAP BW Development and Maintenance :- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models, data flows, and reports.- Implement and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.- Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.- Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.- Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.SQL Development :- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts.- Develop and manage database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.- Perform data analysis and create reports to support business decision-making.- Ensure database performance, security, and availability.- Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand their data needs and provide appropriate solutions.Integration and Collaboration :- Work closely with IT and business teams to integrate SAP BW with other systems and applications.- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data and reporting requirements.- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP BW and SQL-related topics.Documentation and Compliance :- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, ETL processes, and SQL scripts.- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.- Participate in audits and reviews related to data management and reporting.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience with SAP BW, including data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting.- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server).- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects, Power BI) is a plus.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Certification in SAP BW or related technologies is a plus.Mandatory Skills :- Experience with SAP HANA and BW on HANA and SQL.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
