About the Role :As the SDET Manager at Sprouts.ai, you will be responsible for leading our Quality Assurance department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. With a minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, you will oversee both manual and automation testing efforts, driving efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality across all projects.Duties / Responsibilities :- Lead and manage the QA team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.- Develop and implement QA strategies, policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and effectiveness in testing processes.- Develop and implement automation testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure the reliability and scalability of our software products.- Define and enforce quality metrics and KPIs to measure the performance and effectiveness of the QA team.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product Management, Customer Success and Product Ops, to ensure alignment on quality goals and objectives.- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using playwright/Selenium.- Identify opportunities for test automation and drive the adoption of automation across all phases of the software development lifecycle.- Monitor test automation execution and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.- Oversee the planning, design, execution, and reporting of manual and automated test cases across multiple projects.- Drive the adoption and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to increase testing efficiency and coverage.- Manage the selection, configuration, and maintenance of testing tools and infrastructure.- Conduct regular reviews and audits of QA processes and practices to identify areas for improvement and optimization.- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, ensuring timely resolution of issues.- Serve as a subject matter expert on QA-related matters, providing guidance, support, and training to team members and stakeholders.- Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and concerns related to product quality and testing processes.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 6 years of experience in automation testing, with expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks and test scripts.- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.- Experience in both manual and automated testing.- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build and deployment processes.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.- Proven track record of successfully managing QA teams and delivering high-quality software products.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Note : This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with it.
