Ripik.ai builds patented full stack software for automation of decision making on the factory floor. Today, they are deployed at more than 15 of the largest and most prestigious enterprises in India including the market leaders in steel, aluminum, cement, pharma, paints, consumer goods and others.It is one of India's very few AI product start-ups to be a partner to GCP, Azure and AWS. Job Overview : As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions. You are expected to be hands-on in AWS (must have) and one more public cloud (Azure or GCP or Oracle Cloud). You are also expected to develop and exhibit deep expertise in all three major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) while working for Ripik.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable cloud architectures. Your role would be critical both in Ripik product and platform development as well as deploying infrastructure solutions for our customers in the manufacturing industry.You will be responsible for keeping up with the latest changes and technical developments in the cloud infrastructure space (compute, storage, memory, networking, using your expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our clients.Responsibilities :1. Cloud Infrastructure architectural design: Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions based on platform and application requirements.2. Cloud Infrastructure Services Evaluation: Evaluate different Cloud infrastructure services to determine the best fit for specific workloads and applications.3. Migration Strategy: Develop migration strategies for moving on-premises infrastructure and applications to the cloud while minimizing downtime and disruptions.4. Infrastructure as Code (IaaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools like Pulomi, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.5. Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud environments meet security and compliance requirements by implementing best practices for identity and access management, data encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks (such as ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, GxP).6. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure components, including compute (CPU and GPU), memory, storage, and networking resources, to ensure optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.7. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of potential outages or data loss.8. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, DevOps engineers, and IT operations, to integrate cloud infrastructure solutions into the overall technology stack.9. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and standard operating procedures, to support the implementation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure design and management.Required Technical and Professional Expertise :- Bachelor's (B.Tech in Computer Science, IT or related discipline, BCA/MCA) - Proven experience (6-9 years of full-time work) in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment. In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies and services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.- Hands on ability to deliver on their own with little supervision (only people managers not suitable for the role)- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in implementing cloud networking infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and security solutions.- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cloud Networking related certifications). - Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulomi or Azure Resource Manager.- Exposure to basic AI concepts, ethics, and methodologies (good to have)- Exposure to manufacturing sector (good to have)- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in cloud environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. High degree of written and verbal proficiency in English.- Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, high-speed, high-efficiency work environment- Open to fully office work mode (Noida) and occasional travel to client locations in India and abroad (ref:hirist.tech)
