Overview : The Android Developer plays a crucial role in developing innovative mobile applications for the organization. They are responsible for creating high-quality, user-friendly, and efficient mobile applications that meet the needs of the end users. Their expertise directly impacts the company's success by ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge and functional Android applications.Key Responsibilities :- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features.- Build and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.- Work with outside data sources and APIs.- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement attractive designs.- Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization.- Participate in code and design reviews.- Monitor app performance and continuously improve it.- Stay up to date with the latest Android OS features and best practices.- Support the entire application lifecycle.Required Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience of 5+ years as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of applications.- Proficient in Java and Android SDK.- Experience with Kotlin programming language.- Deep understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.- Experience building apps that interact with RESTful APIs and external services.- Expertise in XML and SQLite database.- Knowledge of Firebase platform for app development.- Experience with version control using Git.- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.- Ability to optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
