Roles and Responsibilities :1. Design, architect, and implement PKI solutions using Microsoft Certificate Services to provide secure digital certificates for authentication, encryption, and digital signatures.2. Configure and manage certificate templates, certificate revocation lists (CRLs), and certificate authority (CA) hierarchies to meet organizational security requirements.3. Manage the lifecycle of digital certificates, including issuance, renewal, revocation, and expiration.4. Monitor certificate expiration dates and proactively renew or replace certificates to ensure uninterrupted service availability.5. Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft Certificate Services, including certificate templates, certificate authority (CA) hierarchies, and certificate revocation lists (CRLs)6. Strong understanding of PKI concepts, including digital certificates, public/private key pairs, certificate chains, and certificate validation mechanisms.7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to certificate management and PKI, such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.8. Troubleshoot certificate-related issues, such as certificate chain validation errors, certificate revocation failures, and certificate authority outages.9. Integrate PKI solutions with other security technologies and systems, such as identity and access management (IAM) platforms, network security appliances, and application servers.10. Automate certificate provisioning, renewal, and revocation processes using scripting languages and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.11. Document PKI architecture, configuration settings, and operational procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.12.Knowledge of Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) integration with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) for user authentication and secure communication.13.Knowledge of authentication protocols, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML, and their interaction with MFA.14.Ability to integrate Microsoft MFA with various applications, services, and identity providers, such as Microsoft 365, Azure resources, on-premises applications, and third-party SaaS applications.15.Proficient troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues related to MFA, such as user authentication failures, configuration errors, and application compatibility issues.Skills and Qualifications : - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, architecture, and best practices. - Certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-500, SC-900 or other relevant security certifications.- Familiarity with any scripting language will add advantages along with basic coding practices.- Strong communication skills to convey security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
