Job Description : - As A Critical Digital Technology & Engineering (DTE) Leadership Team Member, Reporting To The Senior Director Of Digital Technology, The Senior Principal Engineer Will Be An API Platform Architect At Regeneron - Responsible For Designing And Implementing High-Performing, Scalable, And Secure API Platforms. They Collaborate With Various Teams - To Understand And Translate Business Needs Into API Requirements. - They Oversee The Entire Lifecycle Of APIs, Including Design, Deployment, And Maintenance. - They Also Develop And Maintain API Policies, Standards, And Guidelines To Ensure Consistency And Quality. - This Position Will Require To Be In Bangalore 3-4 Days A Week. - This Role Is Critical To The Success Of The DTE And Will Require Close Collaboration With Stakeholders To Ensure Alignment With DTE, Business, And Corporate Goals And Objectives.- This Is An Onsite Role (Bangalore)- We Seek An Outstanding Individual To Join Our Team And Architect Digital Platforms In India As Part Of The Digital Technologies & Engineering Organization.- This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Oversee The Successful Delivery Of Our Technology Services. - You Will Manage Large-Scale Projects, Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients, Stakeholders, And Partners, And Foster A Culture Of Innovation And Continuous Improvement. - The Successful Candidate Must Effectively Communicate With Internal And External Stakeholders And Drive Results In A Fast-Paced Environment. If You Are A Self-Starter With A Passion For Technology And A Desire To Lead A Dynamic Team, We Encourage You To Apply.JOB DUTIES : What You Will Be Doing :- Designing And Implementing API Platforms That Are High-Performing, Scalable, And Secure.- Collaborating With Various Teams To Understand Their Needs And Translate Them Into API Requirements.- Developing And Maintaining API Policies, Standards, And Guidelines To Ensure Consistency And Quality- Overseeing The Entire Lifecycle Of APIs, Including Design, Deployment, And Maintenance.- Implementing Kong Plugins To Customize And Extend The Platform's Capabilities.- Ensuring The API Platform Integrates Well With Other Software Components And Meets Business Requirements.- Providing Technical Leadership And Guidance To The Development Team- Troubleshooting And Resolving Issues Related To The API Platform.- Keeping Up-To-Date With Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies In API Development.- Collaborating With The API Developer And Other Team Members To Design And Implement High-Performing, Scalable, And Secure API Platforms- Writing Clean, Maintainable, And Efficient Code In Compliance With Coding Standards And Technical Design.- Participating In All Phases Of The Software Development Lifecycle, Including Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, And Maintenance.- Troubleshooting And Resolving Issues Related To The API Platform.- Assisting In The Creation Of API Documentation For Developers And Stakeholders.JOB REQUIREMENTS :- Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science Or Engineering Or Equivalent Experience- 12+ Years Of Experience Building Complex Engineering Product Solutions & Platforms In A Technical Lead Capacity.- Technical Awareness Of Data, Cloud Services, Agile Development, SDLC, Etc.- Experience Leading And Managing Software Engineering & Developer.- Exceptional Written And Verbal Communication Skills.- Strong Presentation Skills.- Highly Motivated And Have A Track Record Of Innovation, Hands-On Development Leadership, - Execution, Delivery, Customer Focus, And Be Highly Skilled In Software Development- Required Licences And Certificates Minimum Years Of Experience : 10+ Years Of Building Technology Platforms And Being Part Of The Software Development Team & Global Engineering (ref:hirist.tech)
