Job Description :We're on the lookout for a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer who thrives on self-motivation and excels in driving projects independently. The ideal candidate embodies a natural curiosity to learn, innovate, and explore the possibilities within BI. We're seeking someone deeply passionate about BI, dedicated to staying abreast of industry advancements and product evolution. The role demands proficiency across the entire BI development lifecycle, with expertise in SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, data visualization, BI performance optimization, and best practices, particularly within Power BI, including its various features like data flows, deployment pipelines, apps, Power BI REST APIs, and XMLA endpoint.Your Responsibilities :- Design and develop new BI solutions while maintaining existing ones.- Reengineer complex BI solutions as needed.- Troubleshoot and enhance SQL queries, stored procedures, and CTEs.- Drive initiatives within the BI Center of Excellence (COE) to foster data literacy and self-service BI adoption.- Champion innovative approaches by showcasing possibilities and sharing knowledge.- Establish BI best practices and standards across the organization.- Collaborate with leadership to modernize BI strategies and challenge existing norms.- Engage with business units to provide BI solutioning support.- Transition legacy BI solutions to modern self-service BI architectures.- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to end-users.- Offer training and support to foster Power BI adoption and empower citizen developers.- Explore and demonstrate existing and new Power BI features to the community.- Collaborate closely with teams managing O365, Power BI administration, and Data Gateway administration to ensure holistic BI ownership across the organization.Basic Qualifications :- 5-8 years of experience in Business Intelligence development.- Demonstrated proficiency in handling BI projects end-to-end with stakeholder management.- Strong grasp of BI lifecycle, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling, with expertise in writing complex SQL queries.- Proficiency in DAX and M languages, optimizing data models, and understanding the suite of Power BI features and their applications.- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.- Outcome-oriented with a drive to contribute meaningfully.- Passion for promoting self-service BI, data literacy, and empowering citizen developers.
