Job Title : Automation/Manual Test EngineerLocation : Hyderabad, IndiaCompany : XenspirePosition Overview :We are seeking a skilled Automation/Manual Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in software testing, with expertise in both automation and manual testing methodologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of groundbreaking software solutions while collaborating with talented professionals in a stimulating work environment.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products.- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using industry-standard tools and technologies.- Conduct manual testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, and system testing, to identify defects and ensure product reliability.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely issue resolution.- Participate in the Agile development process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, to support the delivery of high-quality software increments.- Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams to facilitate their resolution.- Continuously enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 3-8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both automation and manual testing.- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar technologies.- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, with experience in writing automated test scripts.- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive solutions collaboratively.- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and issues clearly and concisely.- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.- ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing.
