The Opportunity :We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Administrator to join our growing cloud team! You will play a critical role in managing, securing, and optimizing our Azure environment, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate cloud professional to leverage their Azure expertise to contribute to our cloud-first initiatives.Responsibilities :Azure Resource Management :- Provision, configure, and manage various Azure resources including virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking infrastructure.- Utilize Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated deployments.- Implement resource groups and access control mechanisms to organize and secure Azure resources effectively.Cloud Security and Governance :- Implement robust security best practices to protect Azure resources from unauthorized access and security threats.- Configure Azure Active Directory (AAD) for user authentication and authorization within the cloud environment.- Establish and enforce Azure governance policies to ensure compliance with security standards and cost optimization.Monitoring and Performance Optimization :- Monitor Azure resource health and performance through Azure Monitor and other tools.- Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, implementing solutions to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.- Regularly review and analyze resource consumption for cost optimization strategies.Service Management and Automation :- Manage and configure various Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.- Automate routine tasks using Azure Automation tools and scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and offerings to explore and implement innovative solutions.Collaboration and Support :- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and other IT teams to support cloud-based applications and workflows.- Provide technical support for Azure-related issues, troubleshooting problems and ensuring smooth cloud operations.Technical Skills :- 5-8 years of experience working as an Azure Administrator or in a similar cloud administrator role.- Strong understanding of Azure core services, functionalities, and best practices.- Proficiency in Azure portal, Azure PowerShell, and Azure CLI for managing and automating cloud resources.- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools (ARM templates, Bicep).- Working knowledge of cloud security principles and Azure security services (AAD, Azure Security Center).- Familiarity with cloud cost management strategies and tools (Azure Cost Management).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Effective communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.
