The Opportunity :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Windows Device & Deployment (DND) Engineer to join our IT team. You will play a pivotal role in managing the lifecycle of our Windows devices, ensuring efficient deployment, configuration, and ongoing support for our workforce. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Windows professional to contribute to a smooth user experience and optimize our Windows device environment.Responsibilities :Device Deployment and Configuration :- Develop and implement efficient strategies for Windows device deployment, considering factors like imaging, provisioning, and user state migration.- Utilize tools like Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) and Configuration Manager for automated device configuration and policy enforcement.- Configure and manage device settings, security policies, and user profiles to ensure consistent and secure deployment across all devices.Operating System Management :- Stay up-to-date with the latest Windows versions and features, planning and executing OS updates and migrations.- Provide ongoing support for users experiencing Windows-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems effectively.- Monitor device health and performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.Application Management :- Develop and manage application deployment strategies for Windows devices, leveraging tools like MEM and Intune for centralized distribution.- Collaborate with application owners to ensure compatibility and seamless integration with the Windows environment.- Manage application licensing and ensure compliance with software licenses.Security and Compliance :- Implement security best practices for Windows devices, configuring robust security settings and access controls.- Maintain compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.- Stay informed about emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, implementing necessary updates and mitigation strategies.User Support and Training :- Provide technical support to users on Windows functionalities and troubleshooting basic issues.- Develop and deliver training materials or workshops to educate users on best practices for utilizing Windows devices effectively.Technical Expertise :- Proven experience in managing Windows devices within a corporate environment (5-8 years).- Strong understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) or Configuration Manager for device management.- Familiarity with Windows deployment tools and technologies (MDT, SCCM, Intune).- In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems (10, 11) and their functionalities.- Experience with Active Directory integration and Group Policy management (a plus).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.
