Position Overview : We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst who will also serve as a Product Owner to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for both analyzing data to derive insights and driving the development of data products by maintaining the backlog and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable tasks for the development team.Key Responsibilities :- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and define user stories for data product development.- Serve as the Product Owner for the engineering team focusing on data related initaitives, maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog.- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data products.- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and usability of data products.- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, and iterate on products based on user feedback and data insights.- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and product management.Qualifications :- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and manipulation.- 5+ years of previous experience in a product owner or product management role is highly desirable for data teams.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively (ref:hirist.tech)
