Job Overview :We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver functional and user-friendly Android applications in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities :- Design and Build Advanced Applications : Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Maintain High Performance, Reusable, and Reliable Code : Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.- Identify and Fix Bugs : Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.- Continuously Discover and Implement New Technologies : Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.- Participate in Code Reviews : Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.- Optimize Applications for Maximum Speed and Scalability : Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.- Follow Industry Best Practices : Follow industry best practices and coding standards.- Document Development Processes and Solutions : Document development processes, coding standards, and solutions as needed.- Mentor Junior Developers : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Experience : 2 to 5 years of experience in Android development.- Proficiency in Java/Kotlin : Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.- Android SDK : Deep understanding of the Android SDK.- RESTful APIs : Experience working with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.- UI/UX Design Principles : Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.- Familiarity with Cloud Message APIs and Push Notifications : Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.- Version Control Systems : Experience with version control systems like Git.- Debugging and Optimization Skills : Strong debugging and optimization skills.- Third-Party Libraries and APIs : Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.- Agile Development : Experience with Agile development methodologies.Preferred Skills and Qualifications :- Experience with CI/CD : Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.- Knowledge of Design Patterns : Knowledge of software design patterns and MVVM architecture.- Experience with Jetpack Components : Experience with Android Jetpack components like LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, etc.- Unit Testing : Experience with unit testing frameworks.- Experience in Publishing Apps : Proven experience in publishing Android apps on Google Play Store.- Knowledge of Mobile Security : Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
