About the Role :- We are searching for a skilled and passionate Ruby on Rails Developer to join our development team and play a crucial role in building and maintaining our robust web applications. - You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment, leveraging the power and efficiency of the Ruby on Rails framework.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement high-performance and user-friendly web applications using Ruby on Rails.- Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and product managers to translate user stories and technical requirements into efficient and scalable back-end solutions.- Develop and maintain clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to Ruby on Rails best practices and coding conventions.- Build robust and secure back-end logic for user interactions, data processing, and business rules.- Work effectively with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) using Active Record or similar ORMs to design and manage database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.- Implement unit and integration tests to guarantee code quality and functionality (experience with testing frameworks like RSpec is a plus).- Troubleshoot and resolve server-side issues, ensuring a smooth and stable user experience.- Integrate web applications with external APIs (RESTful APIs) for data exchange.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall codebase quality.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the Ruby on Rails ecosystem and related technologies.- Participate in the deployment process to ensure applications are successfully deployed to production servers.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).- 3+ years of experience in professional software development with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.- In-depth knowledge of Ruby programming language syntax, data structures, control flow, object-oriented programming concepts (classes, inheritance, modules), and best practices.- Solid understanding of Ruby on Rails framework architecture (MVC pattern), components (models, views, controllers), routing, and working with gems (libraries).- Familiarity with web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, basic understanding of JavaScript). - Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js is a plus for some roles.- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries using Active Record or similar tools.- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.- Understanding of testing methodologies (unit testing, integration testing) is a plus.
