Low-Code Developer (Gen AI)Location: Home-basedReports to: Development Manager (Digital Learning Team)Key partners: Project Management Team, IT Engineering Team, Business AnalystsRole summary:As an Azure Low-Code Developer, you will play a crucial role in transforming our business applications through innovative AI solutions. This position is instrumental in driving efficiency and achieving our strategic goals by developing user-friendly, secure, and scalable low-code/no-code AI applications that meet the needs of our learners and key clients.As a Low Code Developer, you will:- Design and implement AI-driven solutions that streamline our operations and enhance customer engagement.- Create robust applications using Azure's low-code/no-code platforms, ensuring they are scalable and efficient.- Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into functional applications with minimal coding.- Construct and manage Azure-based databases for optimal data storage and retrieval, while maintaining data integrity and security.- Integrate and maintain APIs for seamless communication between systems, enhancing our service delivery capabilities.- Develop AI-powered chatbots that provide intuitive user experiences across communication channels.- Utilise Azure AI Studio to design no-code chatbots, implementing innovative techniques for improved information retrieval.Detailed responsibilities:Technology Implementation and Integration:- Innovate by leveraging Azure services to craft cutting-edge AI solutions that align with our company's vision.- Establish a secure and accessible application environment, prioritising user experience and data protection.- Integrate advanced chatbot functionalities, ensuring they are responsive and add value to our users' experiences.- Continuously document your work, providing clear guidance on API usage and integration methods.Development and Collaboration:- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications meet the latest business requirements.- Engage in proactive problem-solving, optimising performance and ensuring the reliability of our digital tools.- Communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders, translating technical details into accessible language.Innovation and Continuous Improvement:- Embrace new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead in the fast-paced world of AI development.- Actively seek feedback and iterate on solutions, committing to a cycle of continuous improvement and excellence.You'll also carry out other duties within the scope of your role as requested by your manager. As Kaplan evolves, there will be opportunities for you to grow and expand your responsibilities.Your current role, or recent roles, may be:- Azure Developer- AI Application Developer- Low-Code Platform SpecialistWhat you'll bring to the role:We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about technology and innovation, ideally with:- Proven experience in developing AI solutions using Azure services.- Strong background in low-code/no-code development platforms.- Hands-on experience with Azure databases and data management.- Proficiency in API development and integration.- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or JavaScript.- Strong understanding of database design, SQL, and NoSQL databases.- Experience with version control tools like Git and Azure DevOps.- Knowledge of chunking techniques for document processing and retrieval in RAG models.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
