About the Role : We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our growing QA team. You will play a pivotal role in leading the design, development, and implementation of our automated testing strategy. With your in-depth knowledge of automation frameworks and best practices, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust test suites that ensure the quality and stability of our applications.Responsibilities : - Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive test automation strategy across various platforms (web, mobile, API).- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable automated tests using frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress (depending on your company's focus).- Collaborate with developers throughout the SDLC to understand requirements, identify test automation opportunities, and ensure seamless integration of automation into the development process.- Select, implement, and maintain appropriate testing tools and frameworks.- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.- Analyze test results, identify software defects, and work with developers to resolve them effectively.- Champion best practices in test automation, including code maintainability, reusability, and efficiency.- Mentor junior QA engineers and share your automation expertise.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools and methodologies.Qualifications : - Bachelor's/Master's Degree- 6-10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.- In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Cypress).- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript) used for test automation.- Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman, RestAssured).- Experience with web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for web automation.- Experience with mobile testing frameworks (Appium or similar) for mobile automation (if applicable).- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's (ref:hirist.tech)
