Job Title : Data ArchitectLocation : Bangalore, IndiaJob Type : Full-TimeNotice period : 0-15 daysJob Description :Position Overview :The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and management of high-quality, scalable data solutions. This role requires extensive experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data integration, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be ready to join immediately or within a 15-day notice period.Key Responsibilities :Data Architecture Design : - Lead the development and maintenance of data architecture, including data models, data storage, and data integration solutions to support complex business needs.Data Integration : - Design and implement sophisticated data integration solutions using ETL processes, APIs, and other methods to ensure seamless data flow between diverse systems.Data Governance : - Establish and enforce robust data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations.Collaboration : - Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including data scientists, business analysts, and IT teams, to understand and translate data requirements into effective solutions.Performance Optimization : - Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for maximum performance, scalability, and efficiency.Technology Evaluation : - Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge data technologies and tools to enhance data architecture and meet evolving business needs.Mentorship : - Mentor and guide junior data architects and data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Documentation : - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and standards to ensure clarity and consistency.Qualifications :Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.Experience :- 10+ years of proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or in a similar senior role.- Extensive experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).- Hands-on experience with advanced data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Skills :- Proficiency in advanced data modeling tools and techniques.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to lead projects independently and as part of a team.- Deep knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.Preferred Qualifications :- Certification in data architecture or related fields.- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).- Knowledge of machine learning and AI data requirements.- Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role.
