Big data practice at Clairvoyant, focuses on solving our customer's business problems by delivering products designed with best in class engineering practices and a commitment to keeping the total cost of ownership to a minimum.Must-Have :- 2/3+ years of experience in software development and delivery. - Experience on large scale Data applications - Should be able to do coding, debugging, performance tuning and deploying the apps to Prod.- Strong experience in Java and API development and best practices.- Experience in Java, Spring, Kafka, Restful-API, Microservices, Good to have AWS / AZURE, SQL, - Knowledge on ETL platforms.- Excellent communication and coordination skills - Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently towards team goals.- Test the functionality and push the code the next environment.- Shell compliant CI/CD processes.- Good aptitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills, ability to take ownership as appropriate.Good to Have : - Experience / Knowledge on Hadoop, Spark, ETL, Python- Write ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) scripts to load facts and dimensions data using SQL (Structured Query Language) queries, document catalog data.- Strong understanding of Data warehousing and data modeling and building ETL pipelines- Knowledgeable (and preferred hands on) - UNIX environments, different continuous integration tools.Role & Responsibilities:- Application development using Java, API- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.- Design, implement, and maintain Java-API based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.- Analyse user requirements to define business objectives.- Ensure application designs confirm to business goals.- Develop and test software & identify and resolve any technical issues arising.- Create detailed design documentation and propose changes to the current Java infrastructure.- Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging- Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review.- Working with customers on a daily basis to ensure smooth engagement.- Responsible for timely and quality deliveries.- Fulfil organization responsibilities - Sharing knowledge and experience with the other groups in the organization, conducting various technical training sessions.Key Skills (Mandatory) : - Java, Spring, Kafka, Restful-API, Microservices, AWS / AZURE, SQL.Good to Have : - Hadoop, Spark, ETL, Python.
