Job Overview :We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Testing Engineer with 8 years of experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities :Test Planning and Design : - Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases. - Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Test Execution : - Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects and ensure the quality of software products. - Perform regression, integration, system, and performance testing as needed.Defect Management : - Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools. - Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Reporting and Documentation : - Prepare and present detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders. - Maintain up-to-date documentation of test cases, scripts, and procedures.Continuous Improvement : - Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Preferred Skills :- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins.- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
