Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:- Design and architect high-throughput, robust applications.- Develop High-Level Design (HLD) documents that detail system architecture, data flow, and component interactions.- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance in all design decisions.- Handle and monitor systems infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.- Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.- Mentor and guide junior to mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.- Provide technical leadership and direction, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company goals.- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Qualifications & Experience:- 6-8 years of total experience in software development and architecture.- Proven track record as a founding engineer or in a similar role within an early-stage startup that has undergone multiple funding rounds.Technical Skills:- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.- Strong background in writing and designing robust, high-throughput applications.- In-depth knowledge of one or more web application frameworks like Django, Node.js, or Spring.Architectural Skills:- Experience in creating and breaking down systems into High-Level Design (HLD)documents.- Solid understanding of system architecture, data flow, and component interactions.Leadership and Mentorship:- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior to mid-level engineers.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Soft Skills:- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
