Description:
Summary :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Apigee Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and management of complex API solutions using Apigee. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Apigee's advanced features to solve intricate technical challenges and ensure optimal API performance. You will also collaborate closely with various stakeholders to translate business needs into successful API implementations.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, secure, and deploy robust and scalable APIs using Apigee Edge.- Utilize advanced Apigee features like policy enforcement, security configurations, and traffic management.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Apigee and APIs.- Develop and maintain API proxies, policies, and configurations for various use cases.- Manage the entire API lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and ongoing support.- Integrate APIs with backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture principles.- Design and implement API security measures using OAuth, JWT, and other relevant protocols.- Develop and document API specifications using OpenAPI (Swagger) or similar standards.- Monitor and analyze API performance metrics to identify and address any potential issues.- Collaborate with internal teams (product managers, business analysts) to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.- Provide clear and concise technical documentation for APIs and related configurations.- Stay up-to-date on the latest Apigee features and best practices.Qualifications :- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development.- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Apigee Edge platform.- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying APIs using Apigee.- Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot development.- Familiarity with scripting languages like JavaScript or Python for scripting and automation tasks.- Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and managing APIs (a plus).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Client is Tech Mahindra (ref:hirist.tech)
