Description:
Role & Responsibilities Overview :- Create, modify and test various SQL queries, stored procedures and views for obtaining data from diverse source systems and platforms - Assist in the roll-out of new SQL based applications, problem fixes, and enhancements of software- Follow database best practices to improve the operational reporting environment while focusing on resolving problems raised by team members, stakeholders and end users- Implement ETL and other data movement requirements using SQL and familiar with SAS EG- Develops original and/or complex code in T-SQL/ SQL- Design and develop new SQL code as part of an ETL process- Improve SQL procedures, Window services / .NET programs which transform and load data- Develop stored procedures functions using T-SQL/SQL- Responsible for data profiling, source-target mappings, ETL development, SQL tunings and optimization, testing and implementation- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally communicate with others, including situations where you may disagree with people.Candidate Profile :- Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply- 3+years in insurance analytics - Must have advance SQL knowledge and familiar with SAS EG- Talent Analytics, Adhoc data analysis to solve business problems- Good to have experience in ETL- Good critical thinking and problem solving skills- Strong record of achievement, solid analytical ability, and an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills- Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges- Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe (ref:hirist.tech)
