Oracle DBA Admin Client name : Tech Mahindra Don't reapply if already applied in the past 1 year.Job Description :We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle DBA Administrator with 4-6 years of experience to join our team.The ideal candidate must have experience in Oracle RAC, Dataguard, and should be well-versed with Oracle 12c and 19c. This role involves resolving user-related queries in production and test databases, managing user profiles, performing database backups, and improving database performance through various tuning activities.Roles & Responsibilities :User Management :- User Queries: Resolve user-related queries in production and test databases promptly.- User Creation: Create new users and assign profiles in production databases as per client requests.- Maintenance: Manage and maintain all database users, granting subsets of privileges according to client policies.Database Maintenance and Backup :- Logical Backup: Perform logical backups using Export-Import and Data Pump utility as per user requests.- Bug Patching: Apply database bug patches as required.- RMAN Backup: Schedule and monitor RMAN backups for all production databases.Performance Tuning and Monitoring :- SQL Tuning: Create SQL tuning sets and advisory reports using OEM 12c to improve database performance.- Performance Monitoring: Conduct weekly analyzers on the database for performance improvement.- Space Management: Perform monthly purging activities to improve database level space.- Archival Activities: Conduct archival activities for performance enhancement.Installation and Configuration :- Database Installation: Install and configure databases as needed.- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor database performance and implement improvements.Collaboration and Documentation :- Infrastructure Support: Interface proactively with other infrastructure support teams such as UNIX, Windows, Network, Storage, and Monitoring.- Documentation: Document issues and their resolutions comprehensively.- Progress Reports: Prepare documentation and presentation of progress reports to customers.Training and Mentorship :- Training: Conduct training sessions for users, customers, and team members.- Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members on technical problems that cannot be resolved at their level.Organizational Participation :- Process Adherence: Ensure that systems, organizational processes, and unit practices adhere to company policies.- Initiatives: Actively participate in organization and unit-level initiatives.Education :Required : BE/B.Tech (any branch), MCA, M.Tech, MSC IT, MSC - CSSkills & Qualifications :- Experience: 4-6 years of experience as an Oracle DBA Administrator.- Oracle RAC & Dataguard: Must have hands-on experience with Oracle RAC and Dataguard.- Oracle 12c & 19c: Proficiency in Oracle 12c and 19c.- Backup & Recovery: Experience with RMAN and logical backup using Export-Import and Data Pump utility.- Performance Tuning: Strong skills in SQL tuning and performance monitoring using OEM 12c.- User Management: Proficient in user management and maintenance.- Collaboration: Ability to work proactively with infrastructure support teams. - Documentation: Strong documentation and reporting skills.- Training & Mentorship: Experience in conducting training sessions and mentoring team members.Kindly add screening question - Relevant Experience in Oracle DBA: Relevant Experience in RAC: Relevant Experience in Dataguard: Relevant Experience in 12C and 19C: Notice period: Current CTC: Expected CTC: Current location: Fine with Belapur Navi Mumbai WFO ?
