Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team.- In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SAP solutions using ABAP on S/4HANA systems.- You will work closely with business analysts and functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving ABAP related issues, ensuring optimal system performance.Responsibilities :- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ABAP development.- Design, develop, test, and implement complex ABAP programs and functionalities.- Utilize CDS views for data modeling and consumption in ABAP applications (advantageous).- Work with OOPS concepts (classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism) for effective code reusability. - Configure and manage IDocs for data exchange between SAP and external systems.- Develop reports and forms using SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.- Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of ABAP programs and applications.- Develop and maintain Fiori/UI5 frontend applications for SAP S/4HANA (advantageous).- Debug and resolve integration issues between ECC and Fiori systems.- Utilize various ABAP integration methodologies and tools like middleware.- Document technical specifications and code for future reference.- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.- Maintain a strong understanding of SAP security best practices.- Stay up-to-date on the latest ABAP developments and technologies.Qualifications :- Minimum of 9 years of experience as an ABAP developer/consultant.- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex ABAP programs for SAP S/4HANA systems.- Strong understanding of ABAP syntax, data structures, control flow statements, and debugging techniques.- Experience with RICEFW (ABAP Repository Information System, Enhancement Framework, Workbench) concepts.- Experience with object-oriented programming (OOPS) concepts in ABAP.- Hands-on experience with SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Experience with CDS Views (advantageous).- Experience with Fiori/UI5 development (advantageous).- Experience with OData and Proxies (advantageous).- Experience with different SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, PP, PM) is a plus.Work Allocation :- 80% ABAP development- 20% Fiori frontend and backend development (ref:hirist.tech)
