Description:

Job Description :We're seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing our IT infrastructure to ensure its reliability, scalability, and security.Responsibilities :- Design, deploy, and manage on-premises and/or cloud-based infrastructure solutions (depending on company focus)- Configure and manage servers, storage systems, network devices, and virtualization platforms (e. g., VMware, AWS, Azure)- Implement and maintain infrastructure security best practices- Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues proactively- Perform capacity planning and implement solutions to scale infrastructure as needed- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations- Collaborate with other IT professionals (e.g., System Administrators, Network Administrators)- Stay up-to-date on the latest infrastructure technologies and trendsQualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related role- Experience with server administration, storage systems, and network configuration- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus (depending on company focus)- Strong understanding of infrastructure security principles and best practices- Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities (ref:hirist.tech)
