Job Description :Aner Group, Inc is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in managing application and infrastructure code in private (on-premise) and public cloud platforms and expertise in Devops practices, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code (IaC), build and configuration management tools, Containerization and orchestration tools, system administration, monitoring and troubleshooting complex issues. Ideal candidate will be part of a collaborative and agile team work closely with Engineering leadership to shape the vision of our next-generation platform that supports and delivers infrastructure automation following Devops best practices, compliance, and industry trends.Roles And Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain automation tools and processes for building and managing infrastructure services as code, including provisioning, configuring, and deploying services and applications across both on-prem and public cloud platforms.- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines in a globally distributed environment to automate software applications and system configurations build, testing, and deployment.- Lead infrastructure as code and leverage modern tools to build and manage infrastructure in on-prem & public cloud.- Building & deploying services using Containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker & Kubernetes.- Believes in automation for consistent, scalable and fool-proof delivery of infrastructure and applications.- Build solutions of monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance of IT services.- Define and enforce system and application delivery uptime SLAs, preferably "three nines" (99.90%) or higher.- Commitment to continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in app reliability, performance, and operations.- Adaptability to evolving requirements, technologies, and business needs, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.Required skills :- Hands-on experience on one or more of the public cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure) and expertise in migrating applications/infrastructure to public cloud.- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, and one of the following (CloudFormation, Azure RM, Google DM).- Solid understanding and proven experience with configuration management tools like Ansible (must have), Chef, puppet, Salt etc (good to have).- Experience in implementing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.- Experience in Git or other version control systems.- Knowledge of Linux system administration and Windows Server operating systems.- Networking concepts (load balancing, TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and troubleshooting.- Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking.- Knowledge of Monitoring and Observability Tools like DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, New Relic etc.- Experience with coding or scripting languages with at least one of the following (Shell, Python, PowerShell, Java).- Expertise in setting up monitoring solutions, configuring alerts, and creating dashboards to monitor system performance, application metrics, and user experience.- Familiarity with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools to analyze app performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence.Basic Qualifications :- Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.- Senior or Lead level experience with at least 8+ years of experience in Devops and infrastructure skills.- Experience in working as DevOps leader focusing on CI/CD and CM tools and modern frameworks in the Devops eco-system.- Hands-on experience working in public clouds.- Hands-on experience in using Ansible, Terraform and proficiency in python.- Must have Jenkins and/or Spinnaker experience.- Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.- Solid expertise troubleshooting and managing Linux systems.- Experience with tools such as Jenkins and other CI/CD tools.- Experience working with Jira, Git, and Confluence.
