Key Responsibilities:- Test Automation Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.- Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.- Tool Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate test automation tools and technologies.- Best Practices: Establish and enforce test automation best practices, coding standards, and guidelines.- Continuous Integration/Delivery: Integrate test automation with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.- Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test automation requirements, objectives, and scope.- Test Execution and Reporting: Oversee the execution of automated test scripts and ensure accurate reporting of test results.- Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the test automation team.- Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality deliverables by identifying and addressing potential issues early in the development cycle.- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test automation frameworks, processes, and tools.- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and implement innovative solutions where applicable.Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Experience: - 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in test automation.- Proven experience as a Test Architect or in a similar leadership role.Technical Skills: - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.- Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
