Description:

Roles and Responsibilities :As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting applications in AWS environments. You will manage logging, metrics, and alerting, and utilize CI/CD tools to streamline development processes. Your expertise in scripting, Linux command line, and infrastructure management tools will be crucial to automating tasks and ensuring the stability and scalability of our infrastructure.Key Responsibility Areas :- Proficiently manage AWS services, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting applications.- Handle logging, metrics, and alerting management to maintain system health and performance.- Utilize CI tools, preferably Jenkins, for continuous integration and deployment.- Deploy applications using configuration management tools, particularly Ansible.- Create automation scripts using Bash, Python, and other scripting languages.- Execute Linux command line operations and troubleshoot related issues.- Use infrastructure management tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to manage infrastructure as code.- Deploy applications behind load balancers and proxy servers such as Nginx and Apache.Must-Have Skills :- Proficiency in Linux- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)- Strong knowledge of AWS services- Scripting skills (Bash, Shell, Python, Go)- Experience with Nginx and DockerGood-to-Have Skills :- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible or similar)- Knowledge of logging tools (ELK or similar)- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios or similar)- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)- Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools like ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Nagios, Graylog, Splunk, Prometheus, GrafanaPreferred Experience :Managing logging, monitoring, and alerting with tools such as ELK, Nagios, Graylog, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
