Role : Data Visualization Engineer.Experience : 5-12 YrsJob Location : Bangalore/ChennaiJob Description :Expertise Required : Analytical/Project Management Skills :- Be seen as a senior point of contact within the team to transform data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals.- Lead complex projects from inception to completion, demonstrating expertise in Business and functional areas.- Act as a subject matter expert, advising cross-functional teams and stakeholders on best practices and innovative solutions; involvement in design/development of complex dashboards for Controls Testing Automation.- Develops and drives quality-checking routines to ensure compliance with all relevant policies, operating guides, and owned control testing; deliver high-quality work within established timelines.- Conduct risk reviews of significant operational events to determine the fact pattern, control gaps and working with relevant businesses and functions implement remediation to avoid a repeat event. Lessons should be shared to mitigate similar risks elsewhere.- Helps drive continuous improvements in accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality of controls testing. - Collaborate closely with leadership to develop and execute strategic objectives aligned with organizational goals.- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the industry.- Maintains relationships and drives accountability with partners and stakeholders to drive control testing's success in support of the business's strategy.- Support other relevant work efforts of the department where needed and as directed by their manager. Tools and Platforms :- Hands-on experience in Tableau/Power BI(Advanced)- Proficient in SQL/SAS, Teradata- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint - Skillful in Workflow management tools like Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket (Version Control) etc.Domain Skills :Good understanding of :- Banking domain (Wealth, Cards, Deposit, Loans & Insurance etc.)- Data Management and Data WorkflowFunctional Skills : Business risk, controls, compliance, and data management.Nice to have :- 3+ years in Risk & Controls roles.- Subject matter expert on controls design, execution and/or control testing.- Knowledge of Finance Regulations, Understanding of Audit Process- Automation and process re-engineering / optimization skills Soft Skills :- Proven leadership ability with experience in mentoring and developing a team of analyst- Proven ability to partner and collaborate across an organization, excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills, with the ability to build relationships, partner effectively and build a strong internal network across functions and throughout the global Risk network together with the matrix at all levels of the organization.- Strong tenacity and resilient under pressure and self-motivated in a fast paced and demanding environment.- Highly engaged, strong attention to detail, and outcome oriented.- The role demands a strong work ethic and willingness to 'roll up sleeves.- Mentoring/Guide other team members with approach/techniques/development.- Contribute to organizational initiatives in wide ranging areas including competency development, training, organizational building activities etc. Basic Qualifications :- Master's degree in information technology / information systems / computer applications / engineering from a premier institute. BTech/B. E/MCA in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications.- (Preferred) Postgraduate in - master's in computers- 5 - 12 years of hands-on experience in delivering Tableau/Power BI Dashboards/MIS/Data analysis solutions.- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others and foster a sense of collaboration. - Independent thinker and able to perform a credible challenge of businesses/functions (ref:hirist.tech)
