Procurement Contract Specialist Onit – Pune, Maharashtra, India – Full time We are seeking an accomplished Procurement Contract Specialist proficient in negotiating and overseeing contracts related to internal purchases made by the Company. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of procurement strategies, supplier management, and efficient purchasing practices to effectively meet the organization's operational requirements. Role and responsibilities: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to grasp their needs and provide procurement assistance, including assistance with sourcing, vendor contract negotiations and vendor onboarding. Maintain meticulous records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier/vendor details, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations. Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best value for the company. Liaise with the legal team to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal standards throughout the procurement cycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function. Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and innovations in procurement to enhance the organization's procurement capabilities. Lead search for procurement automation tool and serve as project manager for implementation of selected tool. Required Skills: 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tools, and technologies. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in procurement software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to procurement activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
