Experience : 15+ yrsJob Mode : Hybrid (3 days in office per week)Shift Timing : 2:00 PM to 11:00 PMLocation : HyderabadResponsibilities of Principal Data Strategy Consultant: - Supporting clients in defining, developing, and delivering their strategy through all stages of implementation, including developing business cases and roadmaps for transformation. - Continuous review and modernization of legacy setup and technical debt. - Identify the current & target state data capabilities and maturity to craft applicable and actionable data strategies & roadmaps. - Understanding where data can add value and articulating to business stakeholders for proactively initiating any transformation initiatives. - Lead the review and adoption of evolving data strategies with technology leadership & key business stakeholders, to drive business outcomes for emerging business trends. - Apply quantitative and qualitative research to enable adoption of emerging data practices considering a futuristic mindset. - Deploy POCs of thought leadership and best practices prescribed by industry leading data players for enabling Augmented Data Management. - Lead data and tech partner evaluations and defining measurement frameworks. - Deploy the best-fit commercial models for devising solutions and processes that deliver analytical insights.Required skills & Experience : - Post graduate degree in computer science required. MBA with an engineering background is preferred. - Typically has 15+ years of related work experience. - Work experience in the banking and financial services industry is preferred. - Working knowledge of data management industry best practices such as DAMA, CMMI DMM. - Strong understanding of data lifecycle. - Practical knowledge MDM data structures and their usage across the organization (includes Sales & marketing applications). - Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management; ability to tailor communication style based on audience; ability to get others to want to collaborate with you; strong facilitation skills. - Must be extremely detail-oriented (tracking budgets, managing lists, tasks/to-dos, etc.); good with follow through on own items; good with following up with others on outstanding items. - Ability to present recommended solutions to a variety of issues and problems (solutions that are consistent with organization objectives). - Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans - Expert knowledge of common sales tools including CRM, financial analysis/ hypothetical tools, sales reporting software, etc. - Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
