We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PACS Support Analyst to join our team in Chennai and play a critical role in supporting our physical access control systems (PACS) and overall IT infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in Windows server administration, desktop management, and a strong understanding of IT service management practices to ensure the smooth operation and security of our PACS environment.Responsibilities :Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) :- Provide technical support for our PACS infrastructure, including troubleshooting access control issues, managing user credentials, and maintaining system logs.- (Experience with PACS is preferred, but not mandatory for this role.)- Collaborate with security teams to ensure the proper configuration and operation of the PACS system.- Stay up-to-date on the latest PACS technologies and security best practices.Windows Server Administration :- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022), including patching, troubleshooting, and user account management.- Utilize tools like Desktop Central or SCCM for efficient patch management and application deployment.- Monitor and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.Desktop Management :- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop application and user-related issues.- Manage software installations and updates on user workstations.- Maintain a healthy and secure desktop environment.IT Service Management :- Follow ITIL or similar service management methodologies to document incidents, track resolutions, and ensure efficient problem solving.- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding IT issues and resolutions.- Continuously monitor system performance and proactively identify potential problems.Additional Responsibilities :- Maintain a strong understanding of IT service management best practices.- Work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with other IT professionals.- Document procedures and maintain accurate knowledge base articles.Skills Required :- 5-11 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably within an IT infrastructure environment.- Strong expertise in Windows desktop and server administration (Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).- Experience with patching and troubleshooting Windows systems using tools like Desktop Central or SCCM.- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and FTP servers.- Familiarity with IT service management practices (ITIL or similar).- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Additional Skills (Preferred) :- Experience with Physical Access Control Systems (PACS).- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft MCSA, VMware vSphere).
