Description:
The Position :- Function as a Level 3 Application Support Engineer for Hybrid cloud management software - Provides industry-leading support service to our customer base, which consists of service providers, Telecommunications carriers and F500 companies- Clarify partners and customers issues and gather all necessary information to provide a resolution.- Analyze logs and configurations of customer systems to propose solutions or escalation to the wider engineering team.- Replicate issues in the lab and find workarounds when possible.- Document solution and participate in building an efficient knowledge base- Field Level 1/2 escalated issues and problem resolution.- Work with the delivery team and the product team by providing proper ticket triage.Primary Responsibilities :- Ensure that all client questions and concerns are addressed and responded to in a timely fashion.- Provide guidance to clients who may be unfamiliar with products and go the extra mile to ensure that they have all necessary information for successful product operation.- Provide answers and solutions for our growing customer base.- Execute regular health check of systems of multiple projects- Fluent in English- Good communication skills (exposure to customers)- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Desire to take ownership of customer service and support issues and to reach successful resolution with customers.- Ability to work independently, promote the company's product lines, and keep to the highest ethical business standards.- Adaptable and flexible regarding assignments.- Quick learner with a demonstrated willingness to acquire the knowledge necessary to be successful on the job.- Strong business acumen with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.Skills / Qualifications :Must have skills :- Linux (RedHat / Centos / Ubuntu)- Docker- Virtualization- Cloud AWS/Azure/VMWare/Openstack/Proxmox.- SSH, HTTP/S. SMTP, SNMP- Security (encryption techniques, .)- Bash scripting- OSS product exposureExposure to Some of the following is good to have :- Elasticsearch, PostSQL, MariaDB- Grafana- PHP, Python- Kubernetes- Web Servers, Postman, Database ,IP Networks- Git/Github, Jenkins- Terraform / DevOps (ref:hirist.tech)
