About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Automation Engineer Lead to join our team remotely within India. You will play a critical role in leading and shaping our test automation strategy, overseeing the development and execution of automated test scripts, and driving continuous improvement in our software testing processes.Responsibilities :- Lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive test automation framework for web applications.- Mentor and guide a team of Test Automation Engineers, fostering a collaborative and learning environment.- Develop and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.- Implement and manage test automation frameworks using tools like TestNG.- Design and execute API testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.- Leverage CI/CD tools like Jenkins to automate test execution and integration with development lifecycles.- Utilize GitLab for version control of test automation scripts and collaboration.- Participate in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) from requirement analysis to test case design and execution.- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve them effectively.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools and methodologies.- Define and implement best practices for test automation within the team.- Create and maintain clear technical documentation for test automation processes and scripts.- Effectively communicate test automation strategies and results to stakeholders (developers, product managers).- Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the QA team.Skills and Experience :- 10+ years of experience in software development and testing with a strong focus on test automation.- Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring a team of Test Automation Engineers.- In-depth expertise in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.- Strong understanding of TestNG framework and its functionalities for test case management and execution.- Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.- Familiarity with Jira or similar bug tracking tools.- Deep knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and best practices.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to lead and inspire a team.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins is a plus.
