About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Data Scientist to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in driving innovation through data science. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for spearheading complex data science initiatives, mentoring junior data scientists, and providing strategic guidance to ensure data-driven decision making across the organization.Responsibilities :- Lead and manage the design, development, and deployment of advanced data science solutions to solve critical business problems.- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand business needs, translate them into actionable data science projects, and deliver impactful results.- Develop and implement innovative machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and data analysis techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets.- Champion a data-driven culture by fostering collaboration between data scientists, engineers, and business leaders.- Actively mentor and coach junior data scientists, fostering their professional growth and development.- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in data science methodologies and technologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the data science practice within the company.- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Develop and maintain well-documented code, ensuring reproducibility and maintainability of data science solutions.- Track and monitor the performance of data science models, refine them as needed, and measure their business impact.- Identify and prioritize new data science opportunities to optimize business processes and drive competitive advantage.Qualifications :- Ph.D.in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience and proven achievements).- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a data science or related role with a strong track record of delivering successful data science projects.- Proven expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques.- Experience working with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach junior data scientists.- Proven ability to manage projects effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver results within budget constraints.- Passion for data science and a strong desire to apply cutting-edge techniques to solve real-world problems.
