Job ROLE - Application Development Manager( Full Stack)Location : Gurugram (Hybrid)Role Details : Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities : - Manage a team of smart and highly experienced people developing and maintaining platforms used.- Perform Task planning & prioritization- Take responsibility for the overall project planning, actioning, and success of technical projects.- Initiate cross - functional (Product, Business, Operations) collaborations with development teams and gather feedback and requirements.- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.- Developing Application architecture of different analytics applications- Ensuring good coverage of unit test cases and CI/CD pipelines are in place- Ensure application scalability & robustness, preplan application platform requirement with IT team- Research new technologies and tools that enable building simplistic architecture for the next generation Develop and maintain strong product knowledge.- Establish engineering practices across teams for example the code review, build and release process and the effectiveness of the retrospective- Establish solid business case understanding of products and integrations with downward IT systemsFunctional/Technical Competencies :- Azure platform, Bootstrap, Tailwind, ES6, JavaScript, JQuery, Mongo DB, Node Js, OOPs, PostgreSQL, React Js, AKS, Blob Storage, Python, Rest API framework, User Auth frameworksPersonal Characteristics and Required Background : Minimum Qualifications/education : - Bachelor's Degree in a computer science / engineering / math or related technical discipline- Master's Degree in a similar field is preferredMinimum experience : - Min 10 years of experience working as Full Stack Developer in high performing scalable environment.- 1+ years in the retail/FMCG business is preferredSkills : - You are responsible for application backend Integration, CI/CD Pipeline development and maintenance, building high performance and scalable applications that meet the needs of Majid Al Futtaim Retail functional/business team, in the areas of assortment optimization, promotion optimization, customer value management and supply chain analytics.Must have skills : - Strong Experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Sprint Boot, NodeJS, React, Web Services, Python and JUnit.- Must have good experience in Micro services & SOA architectural patterns.- Experience in developing and interfacing with web services, RESTful, and JSON are required- Must be very comfortable for Database concepts, query optimization of relational databases- Experience or good knowledge of Kafka, Spring Batch.- Experience working with CI/CD pipeline is required.- Hands on with AWS/Azure, PaaS technologies like Kubernetes and Docker are highly preferred.- Must have prior work experience in Agile delivery methodology and DevOps model.- Excellent understanding of design patterns and writing reusable, configurable, modular code- Experience in Back End Technologies Good Experience in DevOps- Good Experience in Development Methodology / Engineering Practices - Agile (SCRUM / KANBAN)- Strong English language skills (Speaking, Reading and Writing) with exceptional business writing.- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (ref:hirist.tech)
