Description:

We're seeking a talented and motivated Firmware Engineer to join our growing team! In this role, you'll play a key role in developing, testing, and maintaining firmware for our innovative products.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, debug, and test embedded firmware using industry-standard tools and programming languages (e.g, C, C++, Assembly)- Collaborate with hardware engineers, software engineers, and other team members to ensure successful integration of firmware into our products- Write clear, well-documented, and maintainable code- Understand and implement embedded systems design principles, including memory management, real-time constraints, and power consumption optimization- Perform hardware testing and participate in debugging hardware-software interactions- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the embedded systems fieldQualifications:- 2-4 years of experience as a Firmware Engineer or a related role- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)- Strong understanding of embedded systems concepts, hardware architecture, and microcontroller programming- Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming with experience in embedded system programming practices- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong communication and collaboration skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamBonus Points:- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)- Experience with specific embedded development tools and platforms (e.g., ARM, AVR, Microchip)- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)- Experience with hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) (ref:hirist.tech)
